the last two sessions of Shaikh Aslam were excellent!
We travelled on a journey, back in time 1429 (lunar) years ago. Through sandy deserts and cool oases, we finally reach the land of Hijaz.
The Prophet Muhammad
has just left Makkah and has now arrived in Madeenah amidst a joyous welcome. Two years have passed, and the Muslims have been given permission to raid a caravan of Abu Sufyan to retrieve possessions that had been usurped from them after being expelled from their homes in Makkah.
The Muslims approach the caravan, but the caravan escapes. Instead the group of Muslims - numbering just over 300 - now face a huge foe of 1000...
